New post on Now The End Begins

The Word Of Faith Heresy That Teaches Jesus Christ Was Born Again In Hell

by Geoffrey Grider

In John 3:3, Jesus tells Nicodemus that in he wants to go to Heaven, he must become born again. Why would He do that?

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3 (KJV)
Among the many heresies and outright lies taught by the Word Of Faith movement, the false doctrine that Jesus Christ became born again after suffering in Hell at the hands of the Devil is among the most pernicious. This whopping lie is taught by is taught by Joyce MeyerBenny HinnKenneth CopelandKenneth Hagin, as well as nearly every other false teacher in the Word Of Faith movement.
In John 3:3, Jesus tells Nicodemus that if he wants to go to Heaven, he must become born again. This is the first time in human history that this term is ever used, and Jesus takes the rest of John 3 explaining what it is. It is an action of the Holy Spirit causing a sinner to become the "new creature" described in 2 Corinthians:
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
The reason why Jesus tells us this is found in Genesis 5, where we see a fallen Adam and Eve producing children in their own likeness:
"And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:" Genesis 5:3 (KJV)
Adam and Eve were made, as the Bible states, in the image of God. Then they lost that image in the Fall and God cursed them. The children they produced were the children of Adam and Eve, not the children of God. The Bible says that only after becoming born again can we be called God's children:
"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:26 (KJV)
So when Joyce Meyer and the entire Word of Faith crew teach that Jesus Christ became "born again", they are teaching a lie. Jesus Christ never sinned, never committed even one transgression, never had to offer a sacrifice for Himself ever. Not only that, Jesus was not born of Adam, He is the Son of God and born of a virgin by the action of the Holy Spirit. Mormons teach that "man becomes God" and that "God was a man like us", but the Bible knows of no such nonsense. If Jesus was not sinless, then He could not have made a sacrifice for us. To teach that Jesus became born again is to teach that the Son of God was a sinner like me and you. That's heresy, plain and simple. But it doesn't end there.

The Word of Faith false teachers then compound this lie by teaching another lie, that Jesus Christ "suffered in Hell as a sinner" and was "tormented by the Devil in Hell".

When Jesus on the cross cried "It Is Finished!", the once and only sacrifice was made and accepted God almighty. It was, as He said, finished. Done. And much to the chagrin of the Catholics and their daily Babylonian "mass", never to be offered or repeated ever again.
"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ oncefor all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool." Hebrews 10:10-13 (KJV)
Do you get that? It was all completed on the cross, all of it. Jesus didn't say "it is started", He said "it is finished". So did Jesus go to Hell? He sure did. Why? To preach the world's wildest "I told you so" sermon to all the souls burning in Hell, and to gloriously set free all those who died in faith and we patiently resting and waiting in Abraham's bosom.
"Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:" Ephesians 4:8-12 (KJV)

Cleanse your mind of that Word of Faith filth by hearing about the real Jesus of Nazareth and who He really is:

So why, you may ask, do all the Word of Faith teachers tell you that Jesus "went to Hell and was worked over by the Devil"? Because they are lying to you, that's why. And no matter how passionately they preach, or how loudly they scream, the words that issue forth from their mouths teach things not found anywhere in the Bible.
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)
On the cross, Jesus took on Himself all of our sins, every one of them, and became sin for us. But He did not become a sinner, not for 3 days or even for 3 minutes. And He did not become born again, as His first birth was perfect. He is not the son of Adam, He is not like us. God is His Father, not Adam. To say that Jesus became born again, in Hell no less, is every bit as nonsensical as saying that Jesus was a Christian. It is a profound level of Bibleignorance that can produce this level of Laodicean "scholarship".
The Word of Faith "Jesus" bears no resemblance to the perfect, sinless Son of Godfound in the pages of God's preserved word. If you claim to be born again and don't have the Holy Spirit inside telling you that the Word of Faith people are lying, then you should check your salvation.
Something's missing. Better get it fixed before it's too late. Remember, only truly born again people go to Heaven. One great way to know you are saved is to have conviction from the Holy Spirit.
Can you hear Him now?

The Last Generation
Globalism - Ecumenism
Monday, January 25, 2016
Pete Garcia
You know what the funny thing about Bible Prophecy is?  It’s that irrespective of our doctrinal positions and eschatological ‘leanings’, the reality is that it’s coming to pass regardless of what we think or believe.  Nations are aligning just as they were foretold, regardless of what Rick Warren or Hank “the Bible Answer Man” Hanegraaff teaches.  Collectively, we have become a people bent only on wickedness, with our hearts filled with violence…just like the Bible said we would, in the Last Days.
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. 2 Tim. 3:1-5 NKJV
Now hold on Pete the skeptic says….the world has always been wicked.  According to you, God even flooded the earth in back in Noah’s day because of it.  God even rained down fire and brimstone on Sodom and Gomorrah during Lot’s day.  God allowed Israel to be conquered twice.  We’ve had wars, rumors of wars, pandemics, earthquakes, poverty, starvation, famines, murders, etc. et al since the beginning…and you are saying NOW we are in the last days?
No, what I am saying, is that we are in the last moments, of the last days.  And I can prove it.
Normalcy Bias
While it is true, we have had all the above mentioned happening since time began, Christ (who we believe to be God in the flesh) stated;
Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them. For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other partunder heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. (22-24)
Speaking toward the time when the Son of Man (Christ Himself) would return, Jesus states that there will be a time when men would look back, wishing, they could be where they (the disciples) were…that is, walking and talking with Jesus.  That denotes the passage of time.  But He told them, you will not see it…but many false messiahs will come claiming to be the Son of Man Jesus warned, but when He does return, you will know it.
But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. Luke 17:25-30
Christ then reiterates their immediate future, by stating that this generation (i.e…their generation in context with the subject at hand) would reject Him (they did), and Christ would be crucified as prophesied by the OT Prophets.  Then, in no specified amount of time, Christ stated that the world would move on.  People would go about their lives as if nothing happened.  What this introduces is, as in the days of Noah and Lot, a form of normalcy bias.
Life today, will be like life tomorrow.  Life tomorrow will be like life 10 years from tomorrow.  This satanic doctrine is known as the ‘normalcy bias’, and it promotes the idea that nothing changes and the way the world is, is the way the world will always be.
Here is the rub; more change has happened in our generation, than all the previous put together.
Our world, in just the past hundred years, has gone from the speed of a horse, past the speed of sound.  From the Wright Brothers to NASA.  From the musket rifle to the M-4 semi-automatic rifle with laser scopes.  From Phrenology to Neurology.  From arithmetic to Quantum Physics.  We went from Copernicus’s telescope to CERN.  Two World Wars involving hundreds of nations.  Two consortia of nations attempting global unification; the League of Nations and now the United Nations.  We went from a divided and fractious and highly nationalized Europe to the European Union.  To a world without Israel, to one with her back as a nation after 1,946 years.  More advancements in technology, communications, medicine, military industrialization, travel, geo-political development, commerce, educations, and information have been made in our day, (in our generation), than in all of recorded history combined.
How anyone can still buy into the normalcy bias, is beyond me.
Tower of Babel Moment
But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.  Gen. 11:5-6
Information and technological advancements are doubling around every 24 months.  We as a race are dangerously close to cracking the code on mixing humans with other species.  (SeeGen. 6:1-5)  We are dangerously close to cracking the code on Super Artificial Intelligence.  We are dangerously close to figuring out how to re-introduce the expansion and extension of human life beyond man’s 70-80 years.  (See Psalm 90:10)  We don’t know exactly what happened at the Tower of Babel, other than what the text tells us, but whatever it was, it wasn’t simply because they were building a tower. For one, God’s not afraid of sky scrapers.  They were dangerously close to opening something that mankind shouldn’t mess with, and God physically put a halt to their work by scattering them around the world and confusing their languages.
Mystery of Lawlessness
Today, the world has become a haunt and a host for the rulers of darkness of this age andspiritual hosts of wickedness. (Eph. 6:11-12)  The lie that Satan is ruling in hell is just that, a lie.  That’s the last place Satan wants to spend his time at.  He is roaming to and fro, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)  He is walking up and down over the face of the earth. (Job 1:72:2)  He has thrones established, (Rev. 2:13) and is actively and aggressively pushing his agenda so that he in some kind of vain and ridiculously insane way, might thwart God’s plan of redemption.
This author believes, that as we draw closer to the end, we are witnessing a ‘thinning’ of the veil between the natural and supernatural, as God readies His plan to set aside the restraining power of God the Holy Spirit through the Rapture of the Church.  (2 Thess. 2:7-9)
We have seen a rapid increase in the interest into the occult and supernatural over the last 115 years.  What began with the fringe few (Order of the Golden Dawn, Theosophical Society. etc.), now has morphed into huge billion dollar industries primarily in entertainment (movies, books, television), but also in religious movements (Jedi Church, Scientology, Satanism, Wicca, Paganism), and to a lesser (but growing) political movements, claiming religious equality with major religions.
Departing the Faith
“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— Revelation 3:14-17
Apostasy in and from the Christian faith has been ever-present since even during the Apostle’s days (2 Peter 2-3Jude2 Tim. 3, etc.) back in the 1st century.  We have seen apostate movements in every century since the time of Christ.  While the presence of apostasy isn’t a sure-fire sign of the last days, the embracement of apostasy by Evangelical Christianity is.
Yet today, we have bonafide Evangelical Christians embracing apostate teachers and movements in an effort to promote ecumenism within all the supposed Christian denominations, regardless of doctrinal fallacies and heretical teachings.  There is even a growing push to accept those who are clearly not Christian, into Christianity by merging them together such as;
  • Chrislam which merges Christianity and Islam
  • Emergent Church, which merges Eastern Mysticism with Christianity.
  • Hebrew Roots, which merges Judaism into Christianity
And these efforts are being swept aside as if irrelevant to the greater calling of religious unity.
There is a growing movement within Evangelical Christianity that delays, denies, or dismisses the importance of Biblical prophecy and the purpose it serves as a warning of what is coming upon the earth.  Most hearers, particularly in the West, ignore the prophetic message and buy into the normalcy bias that things will stay the way they are now, forever.
Like frogs in a pot of increasingly hot water, people don’t realize the dire situation they’re really in until it’s too late.  But some do turn and realize their own precarious positions in light of what is just ahead, and turn to the saving faith of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it warrants us continuing our message to them because of the few who do turn toward Christ.  While others that do know, or should know better, refuse to teach and preach that there is coming soon a day of reckoning, in which God will pour out upon this earth, judgment in the form of divine wrath.
The coming day of wrath is actually a week of years, known as Daniel’s 70th Week. (Dan. 9:24-27) We know that this was not already fulfilled by some event in the past because it will be so terrible, that if God doesn’t stop it Himself, no flesh would survive.  When speaking this, Jesus was looking forward into time, and He stated it will be the very worst time in human history, trumping everything, even the great Noahic Flood. (Gen. 6Matt. 24:21-22)  According to Jeremiah 30:7-11, Daniel’s 70th Week will serve two purposes, they are;
  1. To punish and correct a rebellious nation of Israel.
  2. To make an end of the nations of the world and bring an end to man’s rule on the earth.
It begins with Christ’s removal of His Church (1 Thess. 4:13-181 Cor. 15:51-56), and proceeds as Christ triggers by opening, a series of judgments on the earth.  It will conclude with His coming at Armageddon as He singularly destroys all the armies of the earth in one swift, terrible moment while simultaneously casting the Antichrist and the False Prophet straight into the Lake of Fire.  (Rev. 19:11-21
The world, for the most part, sees Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross as a failure and defeat.  But as everyone will soon find out, that Christ is the Stone cut without human hands, that will destroy all the kingdoms of the world all at once (Dan. 2:44-45).  And then Christ’s kingdom will fill the earth and He will rule and reign on the same planet He had been previously rejected, accused, beaten, and crucified in.
Christ must physically rule in the same place He was seemingly defeated in, and it is whythis writer adamantly rejects the notion that Christ can only rule and reign in the unseen, spiritual realm as many of the major Eschatological positions claim. (Amillennialism, Preterism, Post-Millennialism)  If Christ doesn’t physically rule on the throne of David as was foretold by the Angel Gabriel (Luke 1:32-33), then Scripture has lied since David’s throne is not in Heaven, but on the earthly city of Jerusalem, Israel.
But we know Scripture has not lied, but will in fact, be fulfilled at the culmination of time when Christ reenters human history to establish what the Father has already given Him from eternity past.  (Psalm 2Isaiah 211Zech. 1214)  While the Church that Christ Himself is building (Matt. 16:20) will not be on the earth when God’s judgments are being carried out, we will see and know because we will be with Christ when it happens.  (Zech. 14:5Jude 1:14,Rev. 19:14) His coming kingdom will absolutely come.
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”   Revelation 11:15
Even So, Maranatha!

Prophecy Watchers Stunned As Benjamin Netanyahu And Alexis Tsipras Form Alliance Yesterday

by Geoffrey Grider

Yesterday, one of the strangest and most astonishing political meetings took place in Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warmly welcomed Greek PM Alexis Tsipras to discuss a three-way alliance between the countries of Israel, Greece and Cyprus. From a political perspective it's a very interesting event, but from a prophecy perspective this thing is off the charts. Literally.
Back in February 11, 2015, we introduced you to Alexis Tsipras, this is what we said about him. "His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He was just elected as the Prime Minister of Greece. He is an atheist and a far left winger. His party in Greece is called SYRIZA. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically. He has landed himself in a most precarious situation. Greece is broken. Is he the one to fix it, and also the EU which is struggling and groping at almost anything to revive Europe? All eyes are on this man." Remember that guy? You can refresh your memory by reading that full story here.
In recent years Israel has discovered several major offshore gas fields in the eastern Mediterranean containing trillions of cubic feet worth of gas, and is now keen to explore ways that it can transport it via Cyprus and then to Greece and into Europe. A move like this is of clear financial benefit to both Israel and a cash-strapped Greece. But of more interest was the rhetoric surrounding the meeting and the wider issues that were discussed.
The Israeli and Greek prime ministers signed numerous bilateral agreements during a Wednesday government to government meeting, including in the fields of economic cooperation, innovation and energy. "Energy also includes not merely discussing the possibilities of using our offshore gas, but also connecting Israel, Cyprus and Greece with an electricity cable that will, for the first time, enable Israel to diversify its electricity grid and even export gas through electrical energy," Netanyahu said on Thursday.
Netanyahu and Tsipras are set to travel to Cyprus to meet with President Nicos Anastasiades for a trilateral summit dedicated to regional interests.
Alexis Tsipras, the Greek mystery man, after being quiet for many months now, has suddenly resurfaced in the most fascinating of all places, Israel. And the fact that he was there signing bilateral political and economic agreements has resounding prophetical implications. Just how far will it go?
Put on the coffee and open your bibles, things are about to get very interesting indeed. Stay Tuned...

I'm ready for the Rapture! Are you ready? You may want to consider getting yourself spiritually ready ASAP. We are nearly a month into the new year of 2016, which means we are another year closer to the Rapture of the Church (Christians) by Christ Jesus. The exact time of the Rapture is unknown, but all the signs detailed in the Bible indicate it is getting closer.
Even if you are only a casual observer of the world news via television, the worldwide Web, or in print, it is very easy to see and comprehend that the world news is getting worse and worse.
We no longer have a major news event or crisis somewhere around the globe, or right here in America just every once in a while, but they occur on virtually a daily basis, and quite often, multiple events take place on a single day, day after day. It must keep news people scrambling just to decide on which breaking news to make their top story from hour to hour.
I believe in the pre-Tribulation Rapture. Today's alarming worldwide events, combined with the bizarre thinking and weird behavior of people in widely scattered places, along with the increasing persecution of Christians worldwide, all lends credence and support to the fact the Tribulation is drawing nearer and nearer, and it will become necessary for the Rapture of the Church by Christ to take place before the terrible seven-year Tribulation period occurs.
In my time upon this earth spanning seven decades, there has never been a "stranger" period of time compared to the current time, and especially over the last eight years in  America. Having the advantage of observing human events over an extended period of time from a Christian, Bible-based perspective, makes it easier to understand the 'big picture' of events and activities taking place around the world in the societal, cultural, political, religious, economic and moral realms of human interaction.
The stupefying, nonsensical, irrational, deceptive, evil, and just plain jaw dropping crazy behavior of international and national leaders and organizations, coupled with similar behavior by the general populations of various nations is all indicative of Satan's demonic, diabolical involvement and influence in human affairs leading up to the time of the Rapture and Tribulation.
The astounding amount of lies and deception and sinning taking place in  America alone is unprecedented in the history of the United States, not to mention the same which is going on in the rest of the world.
The current "signs of the end times" as predicted and explained in biblical Scripture portend that world events are not likely to get better in America or around the world anytime again. We find ourselves on the ugly, dangerous slope toward the exit of the Church Age and onto the next biblical stage of prophecies.
Future events are clearly forecasted and detailed in Scripture for all people to read if they would only take the time to study the prophecies found in the Bible and properly prepare for what lies ahead. Oh, and by the way, not one single biblical prophecy has ever been wrong or failed to happen! And no Bible prophecies regarding the future are going to be wrong or fail to happen!
So, let's turn to the book of Acts to obtain some spiritual discernment of God's truth as recorded for us by the apostle Paul. Here are some things God has to say to us today through Scripture found in the book of Acts:
"Take heed therefore, so that the thing spoken of in the Prophets may not come upon you: Behold, you scoffers...for I (God) am accomplishing a work in your days, a work which you will never believe, though someone should describe it to you." (Acts 13:40-41)
"You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; and you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; for the heart of this people has become dull, and with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes" (Acts 28:26-27).
"Open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God; in order that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me [Jesus Christ]" (Acts 26:18) .
"There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
"Of Him (Jesus Christ) all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him (Jesus Christ) receives forgiveness of sins" (Acts 10:43).
"Let it be known to you that through Him (Jesus Christ) forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him (Jesus Christ) everyone who believes is freed from all things" (Acts 13:38).
The Scripture verses above precisely explain 'how' you can get yourself ready for the coming Rapture and escape the coming of the horrifying Great Tribulation.
Christians, those people who believe in the living Jesus Christ, will be in heaven with Him when the seven-year Tribulation period on earth takes place.
"Then we (Christians) who are alive...shall be caught meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
"For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
I'm Ready for the Rapture
I'm ready for the Rapture dear Jesus
Ready to be called to my home above
To meet you Lord way up in the sky
In the ever so quick twinkling of an eye
From your cloud of glory Christ Jesus
You will call all Christians with a shout!
And we will be with you in the air above
Saved by your grace and precious blood
Oh Son of God, my merciful Savior
Come, Lord Jesus, is my daily prayer
Take me up to your Heaven on high
As I bid this earthly sphere goodbye

Rapture Means: Reunion - By Greg May -
There are many who are grieving for loved ones that have passed away. If that person was saved and if you are saved then dry your eyes-you will be reunited. Those who have gone before us are still around, they are living and conscious-but they are in heaven.
Physics was not my favorite subject in school (I think I made a C grade in it!). But physicists, shows us that we live in four dimensions: length, width, height and time. Physicists also tells us there are more dimensions-although they disagree on the exact number; heaven is in one of them.
At the Rapture we will be given a new bodies because the physical bodies we have now won't do for where we are going, since we will be going into another dimension. When God the Father raised Jesus from the dead, He gave Him a newly-resurrected body because He was getting ready to bring Him into the kingdom of heaven. Part of the  inheritance as a believer at the time of the Rapture is a new body, and at that time we will leave our mortal existence for immortality
"For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory" (1 Corinthians 15: 53-54).
We will know our families in heaven but since born-again believers are part of God's family, the bonds that draw human families together will not be necessary in heaven. We will all be one, big happy family and will feel a deep love for everyone. This is why Jesus tells us to love one another while we are here on earth and to forgive one another. We will be one with Christ.
"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named" (Ephesians 3:14-15)
Your husband, wife, child or parent will be in heaven with you-if you are born-again, and only if they, too, have been born-again by the Spirit of God.
"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"  (John 3:3).
Your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ will not save members of your family, they must have their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31)
Jesus tells us there will no longer be human procreation in heaven and mating and child nurture will cease.
"For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are they given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven" (Mark 12:25).
Heaven exists in a different dimension from our current reality.
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen. For the things which are see are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
I would like to include an excerpt by Ron Phillips from Unexplained Mysteries of Heaven and Earth:
Those who have died are not 'gone'. They have not ceased to exist.  They are alive and conscious in the other realm. The greatest example to accommodate understanding of this that I have ever  heard is:
Assume you are in your car, and you are driving down the road.  Everything is going great. The windows are down, the wind is  blowing, the sun is shining, and the radio is blasting. Suddenly,  the engine starts to make a little noise. Pings and knocks reverberate  through the interior. The gas pedal is working only intermittently.
You check the fuel gauge. There is plenty of fuel. Suddenly lights    start flashing, steam starts pouring, oil is spraying and you ease the    car over to the side of the road. The engine stops. You turn the keys    in the ignition, but the starter only spins, until eventually it gives up     altogether and makes no more noise at all. Your car is dead. When    you get out of your car . . . do you cease to exist? That's all death   is. It's the real you, getting out of a dead car.
At the moment of death the believer's spirit receives a temporary   covering and is conscious in Jesus' presence. The Holy Spirit in us is    our guarantee of our place in that other realm.
Being reunited with our loved ones for eternity is just one of the many glorious perks that  come with being a born-again believer.

President of the World - By Matt Ward -
Barack Hussein Obama has high ambitions indeed. He is clearly still a very aspirational man. Unlike presidents before him who have gone on to build a library or to the highly lucrative private lecture circuit, Obama sees the end of his tenure as president of the United States, arguably the most important and powerful leadership position on earth, as merely yet another stepping stone toward more power.
One commentator famously quipped of Obama as president that he never really started governing, because he never really stopped campaigning. This, apparently, is still the case today as his second term draws to a close.
It is the biggest, most talked about secret of the last few weeks; Obama apparently wants to become the next Secretary General of the United Nations. In 2017, Ban Ki Moon's current term leading this international body comes to an end and Obama, if reports and all the "chatter" are to be believed, harbors genuine aspirations towards this role.
Many are dismissive, believing the position of Secretary General to be a "non-position." Be under no illusion though, Barack Obama as Secretary General of the UN would not be the same as a Ban Ki Moon, or a Kofi Annan or a Dr Boutros-Boutros Ghali. Barack Obama is a truly global politician with a global reach and influence. This position, were he to fill it, would inevitably morph into something else entirely.
Obama already has considerable kudos at the United Nations, having picked up the Nobel Peace Prize early in his presidency. Regardless of how mystifying this award may appear now, with the benefit of eight years hindsight, Obama remains a figure of popularity and even reverence at the UN.
He is the first president of the United States who has actively tried to subjugate America to the mandates and dictates of the UN. As UN Secretary General, Obama would certainly seek to continue this trend, likely at every turn, and would continue to undermine U.S. interests in favor of those of the UN.
From the very beginning Obama has been true to his vision. In 2008, he did promise to fundamentally transform America with his mantra of "change," and change has been his agenda for the entirety of his two terms. He has been as good as his word. The America of 2016 is a different place entirely from the America of 2008.
In post as a UN Secretary General we should expect nothing less than a continuation of this policy; his entire life seems to be have been driven by this desire for fundamental change and transformation. At the UN, Obama would no doubt spend considerable amounts of his time and energy attempting to further pacify the interests of the United States in favor of the United Nations. No doubt he would spend significant time and energy agitating within the US to this effect.
At the conclusion of his presidency it seems as if Obama's aspirations have always been to progress towards an end point where the interests of the United States and the United Nations would merge. In order to do this he clearly understands that one of the two entities, the United States or the United Nations, must be subjugated to the needs of the other. The entire pattern of Obama's presidency has been one of subjugating U.S. interests to those of literally all other international bodies, including the UN.
Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are, of course, abhorred by this and he will without doubt will fight tooth and nail to prevent it from becoming a reality. The  Jerusalem Post reports, "Netanyahu remembers well just how U.S. President Barack Obama brushed aside Israeli objections and went ahead with the P5+1 nuclear agreement with Iran. Now, Netanyahu is reportedly planning some personal payback."
The potential of Obama moving across to the UN at the end of his tenure as U.S. president is frankly horrifying to a majority of Israelis. Two terms of isolation, criticism and betrayal in U.S. - Israeli relations would be replaced by years yet to come of Obama turning the international community against Israel. Obama at the UN would substantially deepen the pit of international isolation Israel even now find themselves in.
The potential for Obama to become Secretary General of the United Nations also has eerie prophetic undertones attached to it. Scripture clearly indicates that at the time of the end all the nations of the world will come against Israel. We see this trend speeding up even now with Israel's increasing vilification on the world stage in almost all spheres.
Soon this prophecy will become a present day reality:
"On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations" (Zechariah 12:3).
Barack Obama as Secretary General of United Nations carries the potential for this field of prophetic development to take a lurch forward towards fulfillment, approaching a rapidly nearing point when all the nations of the world would actually and openly hate Israel and come against her.
It is not beyond the realms of possibility that this aspiration and end point have driven him in seeking this role from the very beginning.
Obama, has demonstrated throughout his presidency that he has no love for Israel and that he despises Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has worked actively against Israel for eight years now and has caused grievous damage to her.
Barack Obama as Secretary General of the UN would have the scope and reach to further this agenda on a global, world stage. He could influence and bring direct pressure to bear on every country in the world, specifically against Israel.
The implications for Israel if Barack Obama became Secretary General of the United Nations are catastrophic. Though I do not believe Barack Obama to be the Antichrist, there is more than a shade of antichrist about this potential move.
It is for this reason that despite the growing number of commentator's eager to dismiss this claim of as a fad, I remain to be convinced, and will therefore be watching carefully. We all should be.
