Indian Christian women arrested following false accusations of forced conversions
Four Christian women were arrested in the Indian state of Karnataka after visiting the home of a non-Christian family. Shirley, Mini, Leelamma and Shubha were falsely accused by residents of Pulittadi village of forcing the family to convert by “laying siege to the house”.
